Colonial Acres Beach - West Yarmouth
This is our local beach at the end of Standish Way in West Yarmouth. What makes it great? Convenience. Walk to it and it also has free parking for 14 cars. The kids can do some crabbing off the scenic boardwalk, or fish in the channel over to the right. Lots of boats, ferries and sailboat to watch. This is a protected bay which means the water is shallower and warmer water.
The Beach itself is about 900 feet long. There is a bike rack in the parking lot and a portaporty during the Summer months.
Seagull Beach - West Yarmouth
Seagull Beach is the main beachin the town of Yarmouth. This is the beach to go to if you want some wave action and like to people watch. They have a large parking lot, and charge $15 per car for parking in the Summer. The beach has a large snack bar with picnic tables and rest rooms, and showers to wash off the sand. Lifeguard patrolled. There is a rock jetty at the far eastern end. It has a handicapped accessible boardwalk.
Mayflower Beach - Dennis
